5 Hotels to try in Quebec City

Some of the hotels here may have been collaborations in the past. Note that they can be considered ads.

Relais & Châteaux’s Auberge Saint-Antoine

This luxurious hotel is synonymous of comfort and warmth. Probably one of my favorite hotels in Quebec. First thing when you arrive there is that you’re greeted cordially by the valet and the check-in personnel. Auberge Saint-Antoine is also a museum-hotel built on the historic îlot Hunt in the Old Quebec. Opened in 1992 by Sir William Price, the hotel preserved precious archeologic finds dating from 1600. You can read more on the history of the hotel on Auberge Saint-Antoine’s website.

The hotel has two restaurants, in which Chez Muffy is more of a gastronomic restaurant using local ingredients. Bar Artefact is one of my faves, offering bistronomic local food and in winter time, excellent high tea that you must try in the afternoon.

Auberge Saint-Antoine is really well located for tourists, because it is grounded in the heart of Old Quebec. It is close to the Place Royale, Champlain village, historic Château Frontenac and few museums.

HILTON QUÉBEC

Entirely renovated to be Quebec’s hotel with the best view on the city. This modern and luxurious hotel is only a short walking distance from the Old Quebec. The view on the St. Lawrence River gives such a New York vibe and it is my favorite view from this hotel.

Similar to Fairmont’s Gold lounge concept, HILTON QUÉBEC has its own executive lounge you can book with executive rooms. Executive privileges include a complimentary continental breakfast, refreshments, late afternoon snacks and private concierge service in the lounge.

This hotel has a restaurant in the lobby named CABU and you can get a taste of renowned chef Marie-Chantale Lepage’s local cuisine there.

And finally, the rooftop pool is a must. The misty view on Quebec’s urban environment in the winter with the heated pool gives urban spa feels.

FAIRMONT Le Château Frontenac

Entirely renovated to be Quebec’s hotel with the best view on the city. This modern and
